Woman loses 100+ pounds to get revenge on cheating husband

Her stunning transformation came with a nice side of spite

A Texas mom was inspired to lose 103 pounds after discovering her husband was cheating on her, and was extra motivated when he called her a “fat f**k” in a private conversation with his mistress, according to a report in The Daily Mail. Betsy Ayala, 34, presumably had several options to get back at her philandering husband, including dicing his penis, Lorena Bobbitt-style, which is what we would have done. Instead, Ayala realized that living well is the best revenge, and so set out to shed her spare tire to spite the prick.

After giving birth to her daughter in 2013, Ayala, a marketing manager from Houston, weighed 262 pounds. Rather than supporting his wife after, you know, she had his child, Ayala’s husband instead started hooking up with one of her coworkers—a wrinkle that somehow makes this story worse.

“I found out through some messages I read on his where they were calling me a cow . . . and just trashing me and my whole world fell apart,” Ayala told The Daily Mail. “He would always tell me I looked fine or would try to get me eat junk all the time, which is why I was so devastated when I read those messages, because it was almost like he enabled me or wanted me to stay that way.”

But Ayala vowed not to let the infidelity destroy her. “I decided that this wouldn’t define me and I was going to change for me and for my daughter,” she said.

So she started doing Zumba with her sister 3 days a week, then progressed to running and weight lifting at the gym six times a week, as well as eating a high-protein diet. Now she’s down to 159 pounds and looks awesome.

“I’m happier, I’m confident, and most of all, I’m positive,” she said to The Daily Mail, no doubt hoping her ex would read the article. Anyone check on him yet?
