How to make your own breakfast sausage

All it takes for a hearty, mouthwatering DIY sausage is ground pork, spices, and a bit of maple syrup.

All it takes for a hearty, mouthwatering DIY sausage is ground pork, spices, and a bit of maple syrup (yes, syrup). There's 10 grams of protein to help keep you full, plus a savory flavor that's hard to beat.

Pair your patties with the usual bacon and eggs, or throw them in a breakfast burrito topped with hot sauce.

  • 1 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
