Boston Rob's 7 Most Memorable Survivor Moves

1) When he blindsided Matt Elrod for a second time Matt was voted out on day five of Redemption Island after Rob blindsided him. Matt later returned from Redemption Island at the merge (day 19), as he had won six straight duels in order to come back to the main game. And while Matt thought about blindsiding with some members of the opposing alliance, he ultimately decided against it, and he told Rob about this in order to start on a slate of honesty. Rob wasn't happy about this, and he and his alliance voted Matt right back to Redemption Island, where he eventually joined the jury on Day 36 after losing the final reentry duel. 2) When he threw the immunity idol clue into a volcano While clues for immunity idols are usually treasured by players, Rob had already found the idol. In one of the funniest moves seen on the show, Rob stands in front of a volcano during an episode of Redemption Island and states that it "really doesn't matter what it says, because I already have the idol," and then throws the clue into the aforementioned volcano. 3) When he proposed to Amber during the All-Stars finale While we usually balk at men proposing to their significant others during important moments in their lives, we'll give Rob a pass because this proposal was so darn cuteand it actually happened before host Jeff Probst read the votes. The couple is still married , and they are the proud parents of four daughters. 4) His entire time on All-Stars Rob's time on All-Stars is defined by three key moves: making a deal with Lex so that he could save Amber, which Rob then promptly reneged on; pitting Tom and Rupert against each other so they wouldn't vote him out; and convincing Jenna to turn on Rupert at the final four. 5) When he fainted in the forest One of the most dramatic moments on Heroes vs. Villains occurred when Rob was seen wandering in the forest, before eventually fainting. He was found by Jerri, who then called for the Survivor medical team. Rob was given water and shade, and was cleared to continue the game. However, something about the scene seems a little off. Some fans have suspected that Rob faked the whole thing for sympathy, while one Reddit user has another theory. "Apparently no cameras were around when Jerri initially stumbled on a passed out Boston Rob, so production made them reenact the entire thing," Ser-Jorah-Mormont wrote. 6) His rivalry with Russell Hantz Rob and Russell were both cast on the same tribe on Heroes vs. Villains, but they were soon fighting for control of the Villains tribe. While they both started their own alliances, the Villains tribe won four of the five first challenges. But when they finally went to tribal again, sparks flew. At a Double Tribal Council, Rob's alliance planned to split the vote between Russell and Parvati because they knew Russell had an idol. However, Rob's alliance member Tyson got spooked and voted for Parvati instead of Russell. Russell played his idol on Parvati instead of himself, and Tyson ended up being voted out. The Villains then lost the next immunity challenge, and Rob was voted out. 7) When he finally won By the time Redemption Island rolled around, Rob had spent 10 years playing Survivor. While some believe that Rob only won because his tribe was starstruck by him, he still showed the same shrewdness that he had in the previous three seasons. He started a strong alliance, called Stealth R Us, and most of the alliance members stayed loyal throughout the season. He organized blindsides, won four individual immunity challenges, and he ultimately became the only four-time contestant to win the game.
