According to The National, the all-new 615-seater plane is expected to begin flying a route between Dubai and Copenhagen in December.
Further reports also state that there will be 58 business-class seats and 557 in economy.
The current holder of the largest number of seats on a plane is Air France's Airbus A380 plane which seats 538 passengers.
Airbus A380 planes are typically huge boasting four engines and two floors of seats.
According to CNN, the latest A380 has even more capacity for expansion as 11-abreast seating in the economy section of the main deck would increase the A380-800 capacity by an additional 35 to 40 seats.
It remains to be seen how well this latest venture would fare with passngers.
