A University of Lagos undergraduate, Kenechukwu Emmanuel Nwadiogbu has unveiled an incredible video of the making of a 3-Dimentional Hyperrealism Pencil Artwork of Governor Akinwumi Ambode.

The 300 level student of Civil and Environmental Engineering explains this ambitious project to capture the emergence of Governor Akinwumi Ambode.

“An expression of goodwill most exalted. I thought it befitting to breath to life what has only been fathomed by the mind. A token of my faith, I dare to reveal that this masterpiece was prepared before the elections, Presidential and Gubernatorial alike. Indeed, I surrender my appraisal, as is evident in this theme. It is my hope that it inspires, orchestrating your sight to see what is, Perfection.

Often called Kenart, the self-taught artist has also made pencil sketches of showbiz personalities including MI Abaga, Burna Boy, Davido and Don Jazzy among others.

"This is a 3-Dimentional Hyperrealism Pencil Artwork, glistening with sweat from intense labour and teamwork.... I call this, 'The Unveiling" he further explains.

The 21-year-old was born in Lagos State on the August, 12 1994.

With the gift of vision,  he sought the simplest tools of modern human expression- pencil and paper.

With keen zeal to impress upon paper the offspring of what he saw, he started out as a monochrome artist, drawing the still life and practicing painting.

However, with the passing of time, he answered the riddle to growing a successful art career- Specializing.

He then chose to practice more on his pencil work, condemning each stroke, until it had the lustre that is perfection.

He thus harnessed this speciality with professionalism, merging them concretely into what he called, in 2012, ‘Kenart Creation' now a registered business name.

He has and is currently engaged in several projects, one of which is the fast growing 'Project Beautiful People' where he draws portraits of public figures such as Mrs Chimamanda Adichie, Mrs Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Sir Segun Toriola, Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy and others.

His goal he says is to 'broaden the scope of Kenart Creation, in my lifelong search for light. Indeed, to see, and give 'art with definition'.
