Incase you didn't know, it's Father's Day this Sunday and we're excited for all the hard-working and supportive fathers out there who'll be celebrated.

In the bigger scheme of things, fathers tend to be ignored as they often do all the providing without necessarily ever getting treated.

With the Father's Day celebration however, everyone now has a chance to show some appreciation for the dedicated men we owe our existence to.

Take him out to dinner: Based on his preferences, you can take your father out to dinner, luckily many restaurants offer both local and intercontinental dishes so you needn't worry about whether or not they'll have something he'll like. Alternatively, you can make him his favourite meal at home, served on a well-laid table accompanied by all the necessary fan-fare.

2. Go on a date with him: When last did you take you father out? A long time ago, never? Well now is the time to make up for all that lost time. Take him to the movies and afterwards you can grab a meal somewhere and discuss life, politics or the ubiquitous naira. You can also decide to see a play or just drive around town. The point is you're spending quality time together.
