Chivita celebrates World Juice Day

CHI Limited urges Nigerians to take control of their health on their own terms by including fruit juices as part of their daily nutrition for wellness.

Mrs. Toyin Nnodi, the Marketing Director of CHI stated this in the just concluded Chivita World Juice Day event held on the 17th October 2021 with the theme, Fruit Juice: Powering my Health My Way”.

The third edition of the event which started in 2019, calls on consumers to step forward and be involved in taking practical steps in lifestyle modifications and self-awareness. She encouraged consumers to choose to consume food and drinks that enhance daily nutrition by actively including fruit juices to boost their health and well-being.

Mrs. Nnodi in her welcome speech noted that the company had partnered with health and nutrition experts who will share their perspectives on boosting wellness with the consumption of fruit juice.

“Chivita is providing an avenue for discerning consumers to create and enjoy healthy mocktails and smoothies with the different variety of the Chivita juice brands,” she said.

The event which was a hybrid of Physical and Virtual, featured Presentations and Panelist discussions with respected nutritionists & health experts sharing insights on the benefits of including fruit juices in their diet.

One of the Guest Speakers and a Senior Dietitian at the Lagos University Teaching, Ms. Patience Chimah in her presentation stated that while health & well-being have emerged as a key focus for consumers in the COVID-19 era, it was important for consumers to take proactive lifestyle steps to promote wellness.

She added that one great way to achieve this is through a daily nutrition that includes the consumption of fruit juices like Chivita because of its nutritional & health benefits that boosts wellness.

The event showcased creative expressions with Chivita fruit juices from mixologists, availing consumers the license to create their own exciting recipes and experience the combos to boost their health their way.

The Chivita World Juice Day is a public interest initiative celebrated annually by CHI Limited, the producers of the Chivita brand of fruit juices. It is aimed at supporting everyday wellness, by encouraging the consumption of fruit juice among Nigerian consumers.
