Skyscraper inspired by singer to be built in Australia

Grammy Award winner, Beyonce, doesn't only influence the music world, she is also a source of inspiration in the art world.

An Australian company has received approval to build a skyscraper inspired by pop star Beyoncé.

The building which was inspired by the 'Ghost' singer's body, will be located near Melbourne's Southern Cross station.

Speaking to Huffignton Post on the inspiration behind the design, Jansen Aui, who works with the Australian company said the "forceful, multiple personas" of Beyonce's "Ghost" music video inspired the design.

The 78-storey skyscraper  which will reportedly take 14 months to construct, will house apartments, retail space and hotel rooms.
