J.K Rowling makes apology on character death

As much as we loved her Harry Potter books, many of us spent large parts of our childhoods grieving for fictional characters, thanks to J K Rowling.

To mark the anniversary of the fictional Battle Of Hogwarts, she has set about righting those wrongs by making public apologies to fans for killing off some of our favourites.

First on her list is one of the Weasley twins, Fred, whom she has admitted was one of the hardest to dispatch.

She told her followers that she is going to start apologising for one death per anniversary. Other famous deaths at the battle were Tonks and Lupin.
