Hello my beautiful people,

Hope everyone made the best out of the long break. I can’t believe it is over already but then April is my month, a lot more to be thankful for. I will give you all the low down from my weekend escapades in upcoming posts but today I am all about food discovery in Lekki.

This weeks food discovery in Lekki, I discovered a place I will describe as a vacation house because of the location, deco and theme. Its crazy how much i pay attention to my environment. I spotted this place a few weeks ago on my way back from a friends at night. It looked really beautiful off the express way and i noted it down for when i would have time. I researched them and found them on Instagram saying they had a restaurant. Hence, having so much time to myself this break, I paid them a visit with my camera.

I repeat, the restaurant looked like a vacation house in the Caribbean or some part of Europe with an amazing view, fresh air and unlimited ambiance. At the restaurant with their huge outdoor space I looked through their menu and selected a meal that went with my vacation mode at the restaurant. I ordered Grilled calamari on a bed of red grapefruit with jalapeño sauce and my side Fried plantain because they did not have potato wedges.

It was my first time trying out grilled calamari with jalapeño sauce so I will leave you to view pictures of my meal

I loved the restaurant, the ambiance. I thought they did not have enough on their menu, no variety. Well they said when they open they will add more. The service was alright but a bit confusing because they where not sure about a few things. The presentation of the main course was too basic but it tasted really nice. I thought the grilled calamari was really nice and the jalapeño sauce with the combination of the grapefruit was so perfect it made the meal have a Sweet and spicy mix. The portion could have been better. I would recommend One77lagos for a friday night hangout or all day saturday because they have a pool by the restaurant. Or even sunday instead of going to the beach it is a great spot, eat, drink relax.
