What you don’t prepare for before marriage, you will not be able to plan for it when you start building your home, a successful marriage union is not an accident it is something both party needs to start working on when you discover that person that God has called your missing rib.

The author of , , advised singles to try as much as possible not to go into the world of marriage empty ‘don’t get married if you don’t have the virtues (Fruit of the Spirit) that can sustain a home which includes good character and financial ability’.

There are also rules in marriage that you need to understand before you step into it; you need to know your roles as a wife to be, your purpose as the wife. If God has called you to be the HELPMATE you should find out where and how you can be that person, remember, being an help meat means you have the ability to function in that role as the wife.

Nike in her book, Marriage Love & Sex, describes how you will discover that purpose and how you will know if you have the ability. As a single lady, when you meet a guy, your first findings should be what the guy’s purpose is and also if you have the strength to help him achieve what God has told him to do.

Before you read this book, pray for God’s revelation to open your eyes so as to see His intention for your marriage and home. While reading this book, I got a lot of insight into what His plans and purpose for me will be when I get into marriage.
