Nobel laureate sparks fire with new book

Professor Wole Soyinka vengeance against public lies is not a matter he would love to address without landing punches.

At the recent formal inauguration of ‘The Wole Soyinka Foundation’ the professor said his new book, “InterInventions” is one of the nastiest books he has ever written and it is meant to draw blood.

“This is not one of the butterfly books. No, it is not a butterfly book. It is meant to draw blood. I am warning all of you. It is so truthful and hurts. It is the nastiest book I’ve written. It is my vengeance against public lies,” says Nobel laureate.

The launch was attended by prominent personalities and InterInventions, Between Defective Memory and Public Lie, A Personal Odyssey in The Republic of Liars’ was presented by the Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole,

However, the noble laureate pen down all his grievances and vengeance in a 130 page literary work and advice if anyone vengeful reads the book they will definitely be alright.

“Read this book and you will be alright. It is like homeopathic medicine.”

The launch was attended by prominent personalities such as the Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Rotimi Amaechi, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, Donald Duke, the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo among others.
