Texeira was invited into Ali’s home in Phoenix, Arizona where he took the haunting shots.
Ali's 32-year fight with Parkinson's Disease is evident in the shots, even though his unmistakable resolve shines through still.
Reports from family members say that in recent years the Greatest of All Time was unable to speak and instead communicated through 'winks and smiles'.
Ali will be laid to rest on Friday, 10th June and his family has said Will Smith and former heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis will be among his pall bearers.
