As activities for Felebration begin, English band, London Afrobeat Collective is set to embark on their first tour of Nigeria.
Band to channel spirit of Fela this October
The award-winning band is made up of a 10-man ensemble, which will be performing across the city from October 15, 2015 to October 18, 2015.

Their tour tagged ‘Pride of Culture’ will see the band channelling the spirit of the late Afrobeat icon Fela Anikulapo-Kuti in their sound and performance.
The tour organized by Zmirage will see the band perform at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Kuto, Abeokuta on Thursday October 15, Wheatbaker Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos on Friday October 16th, La Campaigne Tropicana, Akodo, Lagos on Saturday October 17th and on Sunday October 18th at Felabration, Africa Shrine, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos.
As their name suggests, the London Afrobeat Collective are deeply influenced by afrobeat and its creators: Fela Kuti and Tony Allen.
