Artist dedicates gallery to rapper

An artist has curated a gallery dedicated to Grammy award winning rapper, Kanye West.

Seeing as Kanye is a narcissist, hed probably have curated this gallery himself if this artist didnt.

The gallery is something of a Kanye shrine, with over 300 artists contributing Kanye themed artwork to it.

The gallery was created and curated by Matty Mo, a conceptual artist based in Los Angeles. He is known and self acclaimed as 'The most famous artist' so it is a sure guess that he and Kanye would get along quite nicely.

Matty's art exhibition, KanyeLovesKanye features the largest collection of Kanye West portraits in the world. Of the 300 works contributed, 50 were displayed.

Matty got the idea for this Yeezy themed exhibition from one of the latter's portrait that he composed and which got so much attention.

That was when he realised he was on to something and the idea of KanyeLovesKanye came to be.

He says: "People came from far and wide to experience this temple that we’ve created for one of the 21st century’s great art icons, Kanye West. And what’s cool about this is that every single artist involved has a unique style. We’re using an artist that’s overhyped, like Kanye West, to get exposure for artists that are underhyped."

The Kanye West shrine features every portrait laid out well so that visitors can take good photos of them. There are lit candles, incense and Buddhist monks chanting in the background.
