Imagine a museum dedicated, not to artifacts, but to the cool, creamy dairy goodness that is ice cream!
The museum is opening just for one month, and will be opening for the first time on July 29. The opening hours will be 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. every other day except Sunday, when the museum will close at 8:00 p.m.
Located on Gansevoort Street, very close to the Whitney Museum of American Art and entrance to the High Line, the museum couldn't be opening in an hotter spot.

For adults, a single ticket costs $18 for admission plus ice cream, and a double ticket covers admission for two plus ice cream. For children and the elderly, a ticket costs $12.
The most important part of the museum, the ice cream itself will feature goods from some New York foodie favorites.
Created by “a collective of ice cream–obsessed designers, artists, and friends,” the Museum of Ice cream seeks to promote social media interaction.
