Did you know you can explore Nigeria's country sides by rail? Yes, the Nigerian Railway system is still functioning but be prepared for a lot of hassles.
Unlike other countries, boarding a train in Nigeria is not for the faint of heart. First, you have to endure endless queues, the stench of sweat, a raving crowd and standing onboard.
