Damien Hist is an English artist, entrepreneur, and a collector of art. His latest exhibition, 'Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelieveable', has been in the making for nearly a decade, and cost the artist about fifty million pounds.

The pieces are made up entirely of rusty knives and spoons, ancient tablets and crumbling, coral-covered statues that were “salvaged” from the wreckage of a historic ship.

Check out some of the pieces.

Many of the sculptures are made of bronze and marble, aluminium, polyester and fibreglass are all used to recreate damage from the sea.

“Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable” is rumored to be one of the most expensive shows ever put on by a contemporary artist.

His exhibitions run till December in Venice, Italy.
