During the studio practicals, the students hosted a live radio show, acquiring hands-on studio experience.

At the end of training session, one exceptional student is rewarded with an offer of employment at City FM and the others are taken on as interns for one month.

According to the CEO of City FM, Doja Allen, this initiative, which will be a bi-annual program, is part of the station’s efforts to develop well-rounded media professionals, and ultimately improve the ecosystem of the industry.

The next training session is scheduled to begin on October 10, 2016.
