1. Have a fun breakfast buffet

Do something fun. Create a self-serve buffet station filled with doughnuts, muffins, fresh fruit, juice boxes, and other quick to grab items that your kids love.

Use paper plates and you won’t even have to do any cleanup.

2. Play Santa

Make sure to take turns each year or draw names to see who gets to hand out the gifts in the morning.

Make it official by having a Santa hat for someone to wear. This can be so much fun for the kids but allows you to sit back and relax.

3. Go see a movie

Why not go see a movie with the kids in the morning? Most theatres are open and there’s usually at least one Christmas movie playing.

Your kids will love the added treat of seeing a movie on Christmas day.

4. Go to church

Chances are your church is throwing a Christmas carol in celebration of the birth of Christ.

Go as a family, participate in carols with your kids and have fun.
