After four years with the brand, Karlie Kloss is leaving Victoria's Secret, E! News reports.
She officially became an angel in 2013 but has been a staple with the label since 2011 when she started walking in the annual show and appearing in ads.
According to Ed Razek, senior creative for Victoria’s Secret, Kloss is leaving after just two years under contract with the brand to free up her time for upcoming projects including running her own philanthropic cookie brand, Karlie's Kookies, and college.
However, Kloss's Victoria's Secret retirement is not the end of her illustrious modeling career as she has spring campaigns with Kate Spade and Joe Fresh, and will be the face of L'Oreal Paris.
Meanwhile, Doutzen Kroes quietly left the brand in December.
Razek confirmed via Instagram todaythat Kroes, 30, was released from her VS contract at the request of the modelling agency.
"Doutzen had a lucrative opportunity in Europe and it would have conflicted with her VS obligations," he explained in a lengthy post featuring a picture of the Dutch model. "There was no conflict. No animosity. None of the nonsense I've read on Instagram," he added. "She had a great business opportunity, and I wanted to be fair to someone I adore and respect. That's all. I honestly believe Doutzen is one of the most stunningly beautiful people in the world. And I always will. I have told her that many times. Now you know."
Well, now we know for sure.
