Menswear brand; Vanskere takes on modern styles diffusion line; Signore Fusion's new campaign...

The top menswear brand presents the campaign for the collection done in African-Inspired street wear looks.

The cool urban collection retains African edginess yet comes in modern styles fusing traditional details with western tendencies.

Edgy decontruction of tops paired with matching pants, print detailed tunic with hoodie details, faux wrap shirts paired with matching tapered pants, long print tunics paired with pants were part of the fired up styles in the campaign.

The collection deviates totally from 'expected trad looks. On raising the ante with the collection, the creative director Evans Akere says; "Most people would want to interpret an African inspired collection with those stereotypical African images and symbols like feathers, African prints, Zebras, Kangaroo etc, which is usually the holistic approach, rather than focusing on a particular ethnicity, tradition and style"

The Glaze Campaign focused on the metropolitan Lagos city for its inspiration, so you're likely to see in the collection a mix of traditional wear with Western influences".

The styles are definitely refreshingly modern and not stereotypical.
