As she turns 40, This Day Style celebrates Lanre Da Silva Ajayi and the indelible impact she has had on the Nigerian fashion industry.
Lanre Da Silva Ajayi is one of the pillars of Nigeria's fashion industry. The designer, who launched her eponymous label in 2005 has achieved global success with her line being carried at Dolce and Gabbana's 'Concept Spiga 2' store, features in Vogue Italia and presentations at New York Fashion Week.
Her label consists one-of-a-kind couture pieces and stylish ready-to-wear collections. As if LDA needed any more confirmation of her iconic status, Naomi Campbell opened for her at Arise Fashion Week earlier this year and cemented LDA's status as one of the most successful Nigerian designers of our time.
As Lanre turns 40, she does so in spectacular style with a fabulous photo-shoot styled by close friend and super-stylist Veronica Odeka.
