In honour of the BBK Homecoming Tour, Off-White Creative Director Virigl Abloh and Skepta have cooked up something special.
It's no secret that Skepta and his manager Grace Ladoja, enjoyed an extended stay in their second home, Lagos, over the Christmas holidays. The two took to social media to show how much they were enjoying their time in the city with Skepta even performing at Nativeland alongside .
All the while, the BBK team were cooking up something special for Lagos and this Easter, the 'Homecoming' tour arrives. As well as a variety of artists, there will be a football tournament, a Nike jersey customisation service and a pop up shop.
Skepta took to Instagram to congratulate Virgil Abloh on his appointment as the new Artistic Director of menswear and now it's been revealed that Skepta and Virgil have been doing some designing of their own.
Skepta has unveiled two limited edition, exclusive designs that will only be available in Nigeria at the Homecoming Pop Up shop. The first, depicting Fela performing with the words 'Zombie, oh, Zombie' emblazoned across it from the popular Fela song 'Zombie'. The second design is the classic Off-White arrow logo with the same wording.
It has not be revealed how much exactly the t-shirts will retail for but we are sure the designs will fly off the shelves as fans clamour to grab a part of fashion history in the making and the first collaboration of its kind.
