Ciara's boyfriend launches 'Good Man' clothing line

Seattle Seahawks quarterback and Ciara’s boyfriend, Russell Wilson, has just launched his own clothing line tagged, Good Man. The stylish sportsman is finally getting into the fashion business.

The clothing line proves to be more than simply fashionable as it aims to help with charitable work within communities. According to Wilson; “We’re going to change a culture through fashion.”

Wilson and did Q&As at Nordstrom’s downtown Seattle flagship today, as the Seahawks QB aims to get the word out about his collection of casual gear aimed at inspiring guys to do good, while looking good.

Wilson and his three partners are going to be donating $3 from every item purchased to the Why Not You Foundation, with all benefits going to inner-city education programs like Friends of the Children.

Also, the brand’s slogan of “Lead. Inspire. Live.” directly relates to the traits Wilson’s found in the good men in his life, like his father, and that he hopes to find in his customers.

Not only do the clothes “have great comfort, great style, and are modern and classic” and were made up of mid range clothes that could be dressed up or down, which were missing from his personal closet.

Although Wilson is the brain behind the brand, he will not be the ambassador for the brand, as he insists that “this is not a celebrity-driven brand, instead, “I wanted to make unbelievable clothes. That was a no-brainer. That’s the most important thing,”

You can find his pieces on the racks in 20+ Nordstrom stores, 75 “mom and pop” shops (as Wilson calls them) across the U.S, and the Good Man Brand website. Check out pieces from the clothing line and let us know if you’ll be copping some.
