xo Asante unveils bold print styles for new 2016 Capsule Collection tagged 'African Barbie'.
With models all decked in top to toe print (caps, tops, pants, shoes, bags all done in prints) the collection made a statement fusing African Prints with organza, stretch cotton, Lycra and more to create unique pieces.
The brand's capsule collection is the first after the it revamped (they were originally Rue 114) but now re branded to xo Asante.
The collection is inspired by the creative director's deeply rooted Ghanaian values infused with living in New York City to create pieces for women of every shape and size which the brand reiterates there's beauty in every size.
“We chose to incorporate our love of color and pattern to develop a unique line of bold African print textiles in versatile fabrications such as Lycra blend, neoprene, stretch cotton and organza” the creative director Serwah Asante revealed revealed the inspiration behind the bold collection.
