The 'Foreplay' collection

Nigeria is certainly making its mark on the world fashion industry with our many creative designs. Another emerging designer, Josh Amor, just debuted his urban street wear ‘Foreplay’ collection and it’s all we’ve ever wanted.

The collection is quite unique as it features urban wear in a non-traditional way, in comparison to the likes of Orange Culture. Also, it is a unisex collection.

The collection includes distress t-shirts, full/half collared short and long sleeved tees, shorts, pants, tunics, long/short dresses and traditional dashiki for the adventurous fashion folks.

It features three main colors; red, white and blue, which tell a perfect love story. The red represents love and also depicts the yuletide season.

Also, it's self attractive but toned down to show its playful nature in combination with the colors white and blue.

According to the Creative Director of the label, Ayobamidele Majekodunmi, “The foreplay collection is said to “establish and build the relationship that exist between both sexes.

It draws its inspiration from fictional everyday male and female characters, whose interwoven personalities comes through in their clothes and what they would want to communicate through their outfits”

He also mentioned that the “The holiday collection also serves as a prelude to the label’s S/S 16 collection which is soon to be out.”
