Check out Johnson Johnson's 'The Legacy' collection

Emerging menswear designer Johnson-Johnson has unveiled its 2016 Spring/Summer collection titled ‘The Legacy’. The collection consists of strict dapper and sartorial looks.

The collection showcases mostly separates, with the exception of one suit. It features a range of suits from single breasted suits to double breasted suits and tuxedo blazers with peak and shawl lapels.

It also includes a lot of plaid and velvet fabrics in various colors, which isn’t a bad idea. What I think worked was the idea of having separates for the lookbook, as folks who find matching suit pieces boring can see how to switch things up.

On the other hand, I see that some of the blazers did not fit the models well. Perhaps, it was a function of not paying as much attention to detail with the lookbook as the designer should have.

In addition, it may have been nice to have a few more looks comprise of matching suit pieces so there is also that option for people who are more traditional. Finally, there could been more of a clear connection between the title of the collection and the actual pieces.

It’s important to note that this is simply one man’s opinion and each person could derive a different from a unique perspective of the collection. What do you think of the collection? Let us know below.
