Liya Kebede makes the first model of colour to cover Vogue Paris in five years and she did it vibrant... in couture Christian Dior.

Ethiopian born model; Liya Kebede covers the May 2015 issue of Vogue Paris making  the first time a black person has been featured on cover of the iconic magazine in five years.

Since 2010 no black model/face has made it on the magazine.

Kebede, a L'Oreal Paris spokesperson wore a quirky Christian Dior jumpsuit from the Spring 2015 Haute Couture collection with her hair in curls in a crouching pose for the cover.

The model wore minimal look sans earrings with her lips nude.

Vogue Magazine is slowly accepting models of colour on their covers as recently Jourdan Dunn landed a cover with Vogue UK making her the first solo black cover girl in twelve years!
