Kinabuti was hosted by the exclusive Farasha Boutique at the McCarthy Gallery in Main Street park city Utah together with major luxury brands like Catherine Hooker and Emilia Jardine. The event marked the debut of the Kinabuti brand in the US.
The luxury fashion brand presented its latest Haute Couture; Cosa Nostra and Rome collections at the Sundance film festival 2016, Park City, Utah (USA). The Sundance Film Festival, a program of the Sundance Institute, is an American film festival that takes place annually in Utah. With 46,731 attendees in 2012, it is the largest independent film festival in the United States.
The collections made from a fuse of exquisite Loro piana and top range African prints and realized through women empowerment training and skills programs were welcomed by the USA audience with enthusiasm and warmth.
The highlights of the 10 day pop-up shop event were a special photo shoot of Kinabuti collections on the streets of Sundance, photographed by Heidi Gress, and the presentation at a private screening of short documentary ‘’We dare2dream’’, depicting the journey of the Kinabuti brand, directed by Marcello Pastonesi and produced by Heidi Gress.
