Top Nigeria based urban fashion brand Kinabuti unveiled a crisp,modern Spring/Summer 2016 'ROME' collection to selected style editors and enthusiasts with a great time of finger foods, bubbly and mingling at an intimate event recently in Lagos
The twenty-two (22)-piece collection presented at the intimate event features the brand's signature urban feel in more sophisticated, fluid, edgier and modern designs and fabrics.
For the soon to be launched S/S 2016 collection titled 'ROME', 'batik', 'tie&dye', 'adire' all formed print designs and an excellent use of 'aso-oke' which made interesting details on almost all the 22-pieces off the collection.
The collection presented by models of the Dare2Dream competition was in vibrant colours done in cotton jersey, jersey, silk, 'aso-oke' and more in modern styles including crop tops, pencil skirts with 'aso-oke' details, jumpsuits in silk, jumpsuits with cape and cutout details, jumpsuit with jersey, flared pants with slashed details, 'aso-oke' set of crop top and high waist skirt, Kaftan in jersey with 'aso-oke' details, skort and more.
The collection is set against a women empowerment theme with ladies from Orile and models from the Pulse X Kinabuti Dare2Dream trained exclusively by Italian designers for weeks to horn their design skills.
The Spring/Summer 2015 '' collection is set to be presented for charity in Milan. The lookbook revealed exclusively in a video is shot in the desserts of Utah with guests treated to a fine time of fingers foods and bubbly.
The collection presented by the creative director Caterina Bartolussi is inarguably one of the best to come from the urban fashion brand, wait till you see it!
