From black, white & navy blue to burnt orange and olive green, designers went back to the drawing boards with the colours of their collections, choosing to favour dominant colours.

White graced the Altuzarra, Wes Gordon, Ohne Titel and Adam Selman’s SS16 collections, while Vera Wang models showcased designs in black.

Marchesa opted to showcase black in sheer and mesh designs.

Other colours which ruled the catwalk include Olive Green (Greg Lauren, RodeBjer), Navy Blue (Ralph Lauren, Nicole Miller, Eckhaus Latta) and soft pastel colours with Lilac taking the lead.
