Nigeria To Host Fashion Enthusiasts From Around The World

In less than two months, Nigeria will play host to fashion enthusiasts from around the world during the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria, an offshoot of the Africa Fashion Week London.

The event is scheduled to hold at Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos, on May 17 and 18, 2014. According to the organisers, Hon. Abike Dabiri Erewa will be the patron of the event while Senator Daisy Danjuma and Molade Okoya will both serve as grand patrons and businesswoman, Folorunsho Alakija, will be the Special Guest.

The event is aimed at celebrating Nigerian and African fashion from the last decade.  The show will also provide talented young designers a platform to showcase their talents as well as meet potential investors.

The event is supported by the Lagos State Government, Fadan, St Eve’s Media, FOREO and NNTD. It will be produced by Mahogany Studio and Tianna Styling academy in collaboration with Chief Abiola Okoya of Mibod Global Resources.
