5 things we learned about creative director, Deji Osinulu

People hardly know the face behind, fashion brand, Deji Eniola. Here are five things we learned about menswear brand creative director, Deji Osinulu, from his interview at Pulse TV.

He was in a singing group:

In his university days, he and a friend came up with a music group and although he couldn’t meet up with the deadline for songwriting, he was always on time with designing the clothes.

Fashion history:

He had previously worked as a fashion stylist and writer at Complete fashion magazine for about a year and a half prior to starting his own fashion brand and label. So he had always had the experience.

Deji Eniola man:

The creative director mentioned a few people as examples of who the 'DE' man is, such as Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Timi Dakolo and pretty much any man who is upwardly mobile and wants to make an impact in the society.

He struggled:

Although he started in 2011, it took him four years to showcase at LFDW 2015, as he didn’t understand the business aspect of fashion design and needed to learn that before stepping out.

His favorite collection:

Forbidden grace, which was a wedding suit collection. It features never-before-seen colors and designs, different from the common colors and designs, hence the title of the collection.
