With a lot of female celebrities stepping out in Avant Gard-ish looks and men like Ebuka Obo-Uchendu in bold looks, meet the designers who made the fashion rave happen.
The groom's friends including Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Nobel Igwe, Kemi Adetiba, Capt Demuren to the bride's friends like Linda Ejiofor, Beverly Naya and more stuck to the Aso-Ebi interpreting the pieces in the most unique ways with the Nigerian designers easily making them stand apart from the pack.
1. Ebuka Obi-Uchendu in Ugo Monye
Sporting easily the most unique look at the wedding, the media personality chose a modern twist on agbada choosing a piece off Ugo Monye from his latest collection; 'The Reale' off the 2017 LFDW.
The refreshingly modern embroidery and the style stood it way apart from the rest of the boys at the wedding.
2. Idia Aisien in MileMosun
Idia Aisien was baby doll perfect in MileMosun. The TV host chose a bardot accented intricately crafted swing dress delicately crafted with 3D appliques, done sensually. She styled the look with a simple strappy sandals.
3. Lala Akindoju in Ejiro Amos Tafiri
The actress sizzled in a simple yet creative piece by Ejiro Amos Tafiri. The slimfit dress featured flouncy cut out details on the arms paired with embellished turban. She sealed the look with soft intense pinkish makeup look.
4. Destiny Amaka in Esosa Bridal
Destiny Amaka was a showstopper in Esosa Bridal. The plunging neck detailed piece featured sling straps with a mono maxi bow and a cinched waist making the look fitting. She scored the look with an elaborately pleated 'gele' looking chic elegant.
5. Noble Igwe in Trax Apparel
The fashion enthusiast and blogger chose his trad look done modern from Trax Apparel. The agbada's highlight was the cord bead embroidery done intricately. He paired the look with tonal velvet slips almost matching his look.
6. Kemi Adetiba in Tiannah's Place
Kemi Adetiba went for an unconventional look as a friends of the groom spotting an agbada complete with a collared shirt underneath from Tiannah's Place. She scored the look worn with matching ankle grazing pants with heels.
7. Bolanle Olukanni in Sue Manuell
Bolanle Olukanni also opted for simple, baby doll-ish Sue Manuell piece featuring a lot of floral accents wth matching headwrap. The flirty look was without fuss but crafted with attention to details.
8. Beverly Naya in Fablane By Derin
The Nollywood actress brought a mix of simple meets avant-gardish with her piece from Fablane By Derin. She chose a mono bandeau featuring a huge bow dragged with a sash that hits the floor. The detail easily stood the look apart making it the only focal point on the piece and she nailed it with pleat gele and simple makeup look.
Other stars including Tiwa Savage chose a custom April By Kunbi piece.
Osas Ighodaro also sizzled in custom Iconic Invanity, Somkele Idhalama also chose a custom made piece amongst other bold looks.
