Singer set to perform alongside Mary Mary, Jordin Sparks this Saturday

The concert which is in its 25th year, is a popular AIDS charity gala organised by award winning actress, Sheryl Lee Ralph.

Powerhouse vocalist, Waje, will be joining music superstars like Grammy Award winning act Erica Campbell of Mary Mary and 2006 American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks at the Divas Simply Singing Concert, taking place this Saturday, October 24, in Hollywood.

The concert which is in its 25th year, is a popular AIDS charity gala organised by award winning actress, Sheryl Lee Ralph.

Waje who is an award winning Nigerian vocalist and musician, has been very active on the charity and human activism frontier of late.

From entering the limelight as the voice behind PSquare’s continental hit ‘Do Me’, Waje has since carved a name for herself with several hits under her belt including ‘I Wish’, ‘Onye’ ft Tiwa Savage and ‘Coco Baby’ featuring Tanzania’s, Diamond Platnumz, which was MAP’s most played song in Nigeria for December 2014.

Sheryl Lee Ralph made the announcement via her Instagram page @diva3482 several hours ago with the caption:

“JUST ADDED #Nigerian #Diva #UNAmbassador #officialwaje Saturday at the @Montalban in Hollywood.”

The show will also feature performances by some of the most talented women in entertainment, including Loretta Devine (The Carmichael Show), Jennifer Lewis (Blackish), Grammy winners, A’ngela Winbush, Meli’sa Morgan, Shanice, Alyson Williams, the Supreme Mary Wilson, Freda Payne, CeCe Peniston and more.
