Freestyle unplugged Nigeria round 1 auditions

Freestyle unplugged Nigeria Round one auditions contestants are required to download/pick any Instrumental or Beat to record their best 60 seconds freestyle performance

After critical review of how musicians in general perform when they are asked to do an off the top freestyle, team freestyle unplugged Nigeria decided to come up with this pre-auditon concept to enable all registered contestants have their unplugged audition from their comfort zone.

Contestants are required to download/pick any Instrumental or Beat to record their best 60 seconds freestyle performance; dropping their original lyrics, vibes, melody on a "one take recording" on any beat they choose to rep themselves with.

Instructions

1. Download Any Instrumental Of Your Choice.

2. Have A Good Listening Session.

3.Play Instrumental With A Music Device Then Use A Phone To Record Your 60 Seconds "One Take" Freestyle. (Clear Recording Stands A Better Chance; If Possible Use A Studio).

4.Rename Your Recording To Your Contestant Name And Pin.

5.Attach Your Recording, An Upclose Picture Of Yourself , Type Your Contestant Name And Contestant Pin In An Email Messsage.

6.Send Your Freestyle Recording To freestyleunpluggedtalentshow@gmail.com.

A list of TOP 30 best freestyle unplugged performances will be uploaded on www.freestyleunpluggedtalentshow.com with upclose pictures and their audition recordings. The Top 30 will then proceed to round two auditions which will see them recording on an original beat in a Freestyle unplugged studio.

After round two studio audition is done, top30 contestants upclose pictures and studio recordings will be uploaded on www.freestyleunpluggedtalentshow.com for audience to listen and vote. The top 20 with the highest votes will then proceed to the Grand finale which will be happening live in Lagos Nigeria.

Catch round one recorded submissions on Raptunes Africa TV show airing on WAPTV (MONDAYS 10:30PM), AMC TV CHANNEL 117 (MONDAYS TO THURSDAYS 7PM) And on FREESTYLE UNPLUGGED NG YouTube channel to find out how the registered contestants performed.

Entry or registration via sms will be open till 28 February 2015. Sms Fun name and location to 35140. Freestyle submissions by registered contestants closes March 2015.
