Today, July 6, 2017, was the final burial ceremony of late actress Remi Oshodi Surutu's daughter, Elizabeth Ayomikun Oladayo.

Buried according to White Garment Christian rites, the funeral full of young people, was solemn as many of the mourners were seen comforting each other.

Among them were stars like Busola Oke, Yomi Fabiyi, Iyabo Ojo, Ronke Oshodi-Oke and others.

Popular 'Eleyele' singer, Busola Oke, graced the occasion with a special rendition of Ayomikun's favourite song of hers.

Her younger sister, Dupe, was a little bit composed until her sister's corpse was lowered into the ground. Dupe was inconsolable and kept on shouting, "What will I tell mummy?"

"Rest in Peace my only sister. I love you now and forever. We were just two and now you left me with mum. I'm sure you are in a better place now. I love you Ayomikun Ileriayo Motunrayo Omotanwa mi egbon kan to mo ni. Be my sister again in the next life.

My mother is a hero, my sister is just exactly like you are. You tried, you are truly a mother and you did all you could but she needs that rest! Mom I know I'm the one left for you but I promise to be your one in a trillion. I love you Ayomikun."

Ayomikun will spend eternity at Ebony Vaults.

The popular actress lost her daughter after a long-term battle with sickle cell anaemia at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH). She was 21.
