On Saturday, December 5, all roads led to L'Atrium Mall in Douala, Cameroon for the special gala night of the maiden edition of the RATU International Festival 2015.

International beauty queens, actors, musicians, media practitioners among others on December 3-5, gathered in Douala, Cameroon, to take part in the maiden edition of RATU International Film Festival (RIF) 2015.
The three-day event was geared towards sharing knowledge about practicable ideas and trends designed to empowering fashion, music and movie industry professionals of Cameroon worldwide.
The first ever cultural showdown was facilitated by top entrepreneur Erma RATU Olierhoek and had in attendance international beauty queens, Paula Gomes (Miss Brazil 2015), Maria Rahajeng (Miss Indonesia 2014), international actor Alexander Marriott, music star Neglect, top fashion designers, film makers, journalists among others.
RATU also gave room for top fashion designers to showcase on their colorful runway including honoring two fast rising designers - NUVI and EBOH - with cash prizes for an incredible year.
"I want a situation where culture shouldn't be a barrier to be happy and comfortable wherever you find yourself," Erma RATU Olierhoek (founder of festival) explained to Pulse TV.
"Cameroon is blessed with a rich cultural heritage and getting beautiful women from Indonesia and Brazil as well as an Hollywood actor was to come share with this culture like they should share with us about their own cultures," she added.
RATU Festival's special Gala Night held on December 5 and constituted of an incredible fashion show where two students from the RATU workshop were awarded cash prizes from their dedication to creating beautiful clothes.
There were also music performances from local stars whom without doubt thrilled the crowd.
