Singer and guitarist Beebee Bassey was live on stage singing those slow love songs we love to hear including Bruno Mars' 'When I was your man' to John Legend's 'All of me' and Beyonce's 'If I were a boy'.
The former Nigerian Idols (season 4) contestant was supported by music director and producer Sam Mbek who played the keyboard. Pulse blogger editor Coco was also on stage and she did blow our mind as she sang the legend Bob Marley's 'I wanna love you' and 2face's 'African Queen'
BLD by Play is owned by Charles Okpaleke who also owns Play Lounge in Abuja. The establishment provides a continental and Nigerian menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. With this weekly event, Pulse aims to create a mellow after-work place for people in a warm elegant setting.
Last night guests were serenaded by the self-taught singer's strong vocals as they listened to good music while sipping on BLD signature cocktails.
