Nigeria foremost news site hosts another edition of their weekly event Pulse Bluesday Tuesday.
Singer and guitarist Beebee Bassey was live on stage entertaining the gathering with some of our favourite R&B songs. Supported by R&B singer Timothy and producer Sam Mbek, their performance playlist included Lionel Richie's 'Stuck on you', Asa's Bibanke, Bill Withers' 'Lean on me', Drake's 'Hold on, we're going home' and even P-Square's 'Chop my money'. Beebee also threw in some of her original compositions including 'Sunday morning' and 'Tukeke'.
Ade Bantu and several music lovers came through to show love and listen to good music as the night went by.
BLD by Play provides a continental and Nigerian menu for all hours of the day. The establishment is owned by Charles Okpaleke who also owns Play Lounge in Abuja. With this weekly event, Pulse aims to create a mellow after-work place for people in a cosy elegant setting.
Last night guests were serenaded to R&B music with a fusion of soft afrocentric rock.
