Audition begins for 9th edition of singing competition
The music reality show, with its famous 'Fame Academy' has produced music stars that include Iyanya, Chidinma, Praiz, Tolu,Mike Anyasodo, Kesse Frimpong and Monica Ogah amidst several others.
According to a statement from Ultima Studio's rep, Olu Akinlabi, "the winning music talent discovery and grooming competition, MTN Project Fame West Africa is back for the ninth straight season with the tag: Fame Lives Here."
Akinlabi further noted that as it has become synonymous with the reality show, organisers will be searching for raw talents through audition processes that is billed to commence on Saturday June 18,2016.
"The auditions will commence in some West African major cities on Saturday June 18,2016 and the auditions in Lagos will hold on the July 1, 2016 and July 2, 2016 respectively.
"This year and as usual, thousands of young talents will fight to get into the prestigious Project Fame Academy, where superstars are made, to be tutored by the best in the music and entertainment industry," Akinlabi enthused.
It was also gathered that auditions kick off in Accra and Ibadan simultaneously on June 18, 2016 before moving to Port Harcourt and Abuja on June 25, 2016 and finally returning to Lagos on July 1, 2016 and July 2, 2016.
