Paul Play Dairo and Style Plus have arrived in Lagos ahead of the upcoming Greatest of All Times (GOAT) concert on Saturday November 14, 2015.
The artists arrived from Abuja this afternoon, Thursday, November 12, 2015.
The debut edition of GOAT is intended to celebrate musicians who have made the most impact in Nigeria’s urbane music culture since the 90s.
Paul Play‘s ‘Angel of my life’ was a massive hit back in 2006. It was one of the biggest R&B love songs of its time.
Styl Plus rocked the radio waves and dance floor in the early part of the 2000s decade with hits like ‘Olufunmi’ and ‘Iya Basira’.
The upcoming concert will feature performances from both acts as well as from Sound Sultan, Olu Maintain, Tony Tetuila and DJ Jimmy Jatt.
These artists will also be joined by the new school kids including Olamide, Shaydee and Aramide.
The upcoming concert will feature tributes to Sir Shina Peters, Christy Essien Igbokwe, Salawa Abeni, Onyeka Onwenu, Wale Thompson and Evi Edna.
