The national premiere of the highly anticipated movie "Oloibiri" held on Thursday, October 21, 2016 at Shell Nigeria Hall, MUSON Center Onikan, Lagos.

The star-studded event was attended by GCFR Former Head of State, Gen. and Mrs Yakubu Gowon, Former Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, HRM, King Alfred P. Diete-Spiff, Jerry Gana, Richard Mofe Damijo, Patrick Doyle, Onyeka Onwenu.

“Oloibiri” is a movie based on the life of the community where crude oil was first discovered in commercial quantities in Nigeria. It is a story of the frustration and anger of a people whose land was exploited of its resources and abandoned to a life of poverty.
