To launch the event, Rok is hosting a gala event at 8 Northumberland in Central London on Friday 30 September 2016, which will be a red carpet, cocktail reception & sit down meal, a huge celebration of all things Nollywood.
Denrele Edun will host the red carpet while confirmed guests include Alexx Ekubo, Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha, John Dumelo, Oge Okoye, Mercy Aigbe Gentry, Ini Edo, Annie Idibia, Yul Edochie, Jackie Appiah, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Patience Ozokwor, Segun Arinze, Funke Akindele and many more.

The channel will air 24 hours a day, 7 days a week showing new contents from latest seasons of smash-hits like Single Ladies, Banks Chronicles, Bloodline, Husbands of Lagos, Desperate Housegirls, Losing Control and Cougars, as well as some of the most recent smash hit movies including Walking Away, Aso Ebi and Forever.
Rok Studios launched in 2013. It is a leading African film and television studio and production house based in Lagos, Nigeria. They specialize in the creation of content in partnership with the industry’s foremost creative talent. Rok has developed, produced and financed film and TV series for distribution platforms globally.
