A new Miss Nigeria was crowned in the early hours of Sunday, November 8, 2015 at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos Nigeria. Pamela Peter-Vigboro Leesi, representing Cross River state emerged Miss Nigeria 2015 after a tight contest between other queens from the 36 states in Nigeria.
The judges of the night included Audu Maikori, Helen Prest Ajayi, Ruth Osime, Jumoke Adenowo, Lanre Da Silva, Mai Atafo, Isoken Ogiemwoniyi, and Chima Ude.
The top 4 included Miss Osun, Miss Cross River, Miss Anambra, Miss Oyo and Miss Adamawa. Miss Oyo emerged second runner up with Miss Cross River and Miss Jigawa having the same point from the judges making it a tie which was settled with a question from Adebola Williams, who asked the two finalist to pitch a business idea to the judges in 30 seconds.
They both answered well but the judges were more convinced with Miss Cross River's business idea and announced her Miss Nigeria 2015.
Pamela, who was crowned by the out-going queen, Miss Ezinne Akudo, won the grand prize of N3 million cash, a brand new Kia Rio car, six months skill acquisition programme in any institution of choice, a year serviced apartment, and an all-expense paid trip abroad.
