Miss Heritage Nigeria 2014 visits Badagry

As part of her aim to promote cultural heritage especially in the host State, Miss Heritage Nigeria 2014 team visited Badagry.

As part of her aim to promote cultural heritage especially in the host State, Miss Heritage Nigeria 2014 team visited Badagry. It was an elevating event as the Akran of Badagry and His entourage welcomes the team with open arms.

This visit was to formally introduce the pageant to the Akran of Badagry and Local government Chairman in anticipating the official visit by the contestants when they arrive. Miss Heritage Nigeria 2014 auditions have being ongoing (visit www.missheritagenigeri.org for more details) and final casting will take place in the first week of September.

Contestants will be assigned to their teams – a first of its kind innovation in pageantry as the team is made up of upcoming fashion designer, makeup artist and bead/accessory makers, all working together to earn the crown. This is to showcase the creativity of these yo uths, giving them a room to build on their career in their chosen fields and also, promoting our culture through their talent.

Tentatively, the contestants will move into the house and be groomed in our cultural ethics amongst others, promoting its continuality.
