This weeks episode of Industry Nite took place at Maddox in Victoria Island. The headline gig was Grip muzik’s Yung L, Endia and producer Chopstix ;hosted by the lanky Jimmie Akinsola.

There were performances by Splash, a young female rapper who rapped in her native Ibo tongue, also rapping in ibo was Loose Kaynon. The ‘Show me yuh rozay’ crooner Ketchup was present and performed as well.

Right before Yung L and Endia came on stage, one of their backup singers came on stage and performed an applaudable rendition to Beyonce and Jay-Z’s hit track ‘drunk in love’. The boys performed several of their songs as well as songs by Bob Marley and John Legend. The Grip Muzik Boys expressively gave recognition to Ice Prince for supporting their music after which the BET Award winner came up dresses in white and black head to toe and performed several songs including hit track ‘Gimme dat’.

Rapper Reminisce came on stage and the crowd went wild and rapped enthusiastically alongside the Yoruba rapper dressed in all white. Iyanya came on stage and performed his latest song ‘Away’ as Yung L and Endia playfully served as his backup dancers. The music event closed with M.I; also dressed in black and white performing songs from his debut album.

Besides Ice Prince and M.I's white and black outfits, the fashion at the event spoke volumes, there were lots of leather outfits, performers in dark Rayban sunglasses and the most notable of all was the prevalence of the Timbaland boots and the Jordan sneakers. The most striking ensemble that night was danshiki worn over denim jeans and hightop sneakers worn by a group of three guys.
