'K1 De Ultimate' performed a long string of hit songs from his albums, switching between his evergreen tracks. He has a new album in the works, and two songs off it were played.
The special event held at the Oriental Hotel was crafted to be a night where traditional Nigerian music will shine through, with sprinklings of pop, dance and urban music.
Hosts for the night include Olisa Adibua, Teju Babyface, and Spanky, with DJ Consequence working the wheels of steel. Performances on the night was varied in class, with a perfect blend of the young acts, the pop stars, and the vintage stars.
There were sets played by Que Peller, Baseone, Soma, Olawale, and Mayorkun, who were followed by the silky voice of Shola Allyson, the experience of Gloria Ibru, the jazz of John Scott and the adoration of Lanre Teriba Atorise. Vector, 9ice, and Adekunle Gold all came on stage to open for a greater force.
This event, had all of this both in substance and attendance. Present in the crowd were the monied elite of Lagos, with His Royal Majesty Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi a prominent attendee. Also present was Lagos socialite and entertainment Entrepreneur, Shina Peller.
