The 2017 Africa Fashion Week Nigeria is set to hold at the National Theatre on the 3rd to 4th June with over 50 designers showcasing their new collections.

The annual fashion event with the theme ‘Celebrating the Vibrant Pulse of Africa' is in place to celebrate the rich culture of Africa and her style with designers in tune with this presenting their new collection as well as over fifty (50) exhibitors showing and selling at the 2-day event.

  • The Lagos Leather Fair

The Lagos Leather fair is set to hold on the 3rd and 4th of June, 2017, at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The fair presents a platform for guests to have an amazing shopping experience from over 50 leather designers such as; Joel Lani, 87 origins, O’Eclat, fori fori, city cobbler, Mode and many others.

On the 3rd of June 2017, The MOSÉ Store, a premium beauty retail hub will open its doors to beauty connoisseurs at its flagship location at Nelle Mall, Lekki phase 1, Lagos.

The countdown for the Final-4 playoffs of the Continental Basketball League (CBL) has reached crescendo with players, dancers and singers gearing up for what is expected to be the biggest basketball play offs ever on the continent of Africa in recent times.

The CBL features players from the USA, Senegal, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Cameroon, South Africa, Egypt, Kenya, Burkina Faso, Chad Ghana and the Bahamas.

  • Daily Times 91st anniversary

The Daily Times of Nigeria (DTN), the nation's heritage newspaper, has mapped out activities to mark its 91st anniversary, commencing May 16, 2017 with exhibition at the Abuja International Conference center.

The Anniversary committee revealed that the celebration would be flagged off with the National and Historic Exhibition, an 'AA' top level exhibition with the theme: “Nigeria through the Times ...” at the entrance foyer of Abuja International Conference Centre on May 16, 2017 from 3.00pm till 6.00pm and at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Victoria Island, Lagos from June 1 to June 6, 2017.

The stage play, Love and Recession, produced and directed by Ifeoma Fafunwa of Iopeneye will hit the stage in Lagos for the second time this June. The play which made its debut in December 2016 is set to intrigue arts, culture and literary enthusiasts with 5 shows.
